Yep, as you can see...Austin dressed as a monkey for Halloween. Okay, so he didn't necessarily choose himself to dress like a monkey...but it certainly fit (literally and metaphorically).
Austin first dressed up to come Keith's office, where he met up with his play buddy, Anthony...who was also dressed as a monkey. It was very funny and cute to watch the 2 boys crawling around the floor together and occasionally approaching one another to push each other over, or to use the other to pull themselves up to standing. There were moments when you could almost picture them role playing like monkeys at the zoo.
After visiting Daddy, Austin and Christine went to the weekly play group, where Austin met up with other children dressed as animals including a penguin and a tiger.
Later that evening, Austin was very happy to greet all of the trick or treaters while wearing his monkey costume...although he didn't like to wear the hood, so he really was dressed up like more himself in a monkey's body. All in all...a very fun day.
