Austin got an opportunity to meet some of Keith and Christine's Misericordia friends at Jen and Dan's annual holiday party. Jen and Dan just recently moved into a 3-floor, 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo....so there was plenty of room for all of the people they invited and their home looked awesome. We are so happy for them.
The party was especially special this year, because Susan/Jeff and Jen/Dan hadn't met Austin yet! Austin pulled out his "sleeping self" for the party and slept most of the time (except for a little bit of being awake at the end of the evening-we were there from 7pm-11:30pm). When we arrived, he was already asleep in his car carrier...but he just HAD to get taken out because there were people to meet! We thought that by taking him out he may wake up, but we were mistaken: he slept on and off for the next 3 hours (most of the the time he slept in the "baby bjorn"). On the bright side of things, he wasn't fussy. On the downside, most people didn't even get to see his eyes. Oh well, such is the way with infants, right?
