Harborfest's Grucci Fireworks

With the exception of last year, being busy packing for our impending move, we have always tried to make it into Oswego, NY for their annual fireworks show. It is a pretty big deal as one of the local power utility companies from the area hires the Grucci family to put on a nice (about 35 minutes in duration) fireworks display for a local festival. The Grucci's put on the fireworks show in NYC on July 4th (trust me, we here it constantly for weeks leading up to the show)...so they are quite nice to watch.

Anyway...all 3 of us went to the beach in Fair Haven last weekend for the morning, went to Keith's parents house in the afternoon and left Austin to fall asleep at their house as Keith and Christine went to the fireworks. We really didn't consider bringing Austin as the show doesn't start until after 9 pm and it is about a one mile walk from where we park to get to where we watch the show.

A kind person put up an edited version of the fireworks from a different vantage point than we had (we were much closer, but didn't bring a camera) on Youtube, so we are embedding it here for your viewing pleasure. If nothing else, the Grand Finale is worth watching about 2:20 into the second video.
