Post Memorial Day

Again, it has been too long between postings. I am sure that I we won't get much sympathy if we complain about the limited time to post as a result of Austin taking fewer naps, going to bed later and waking up earlier...or if we talk about how the home/lawn is always in need of our time, even if for routine and expected maintenance (i.e. 2 weeks to clean the deck and seal it). What happens is this... as we procrastinate on a posting, more things happen, thus making the next posting bigger; the bigger it needs to be though, the more time that is required to type it, and less likely that we will find the time necessary...and the cycle becomes mostly perpetual, and the posting never happens.

This was why we tried the failed experiment of tweeting. When Austin was napping twice daily, Christine tended to spend more time on the computer, but since he is only napping (mostly) once daily, her time is more limited and she has been spending significantly less time on the innerwebs.

Keith has been doing more work (from the job) at home, which allows him to get home sooner, but requires him to be more occupied when Austin is sleeping...thus only opening up time for blogging on the weekends. Of course, the weekends are the only time for mowing, lawn work, and home maintenance...and we haven't even gotten time to go for a bike ride yet.
