Warmer weather treating us well...

The little warm spell has provided Austin with some good opportunities to get out for some fresh air and he has been out in his "carriage" each of the last 3 days.

Saturday, Christine went shopping for baby furniture with Katie D. (the furniture would be for Katie, who pregnancy suits very well). While the ladies were off at Toys 'R Us, Keith and Austin went for a walk around the town...it was going to be a long walk, but Christine and Katie found something that Katie liked in a short amount of time and were returning home sooner than expected. So, being that there wasn't to be much time before the boys had to get home so that Katie could see Austin, the gentlemen went to the local liquor store (Austin's first ever such experience--but he slept through it), picked up some Macallan and walked home. Austin was due to eat when he arrived at home, but managed to stave off some mild hunger and be a very pleasant young man for Katie.

On Sunday, the whole family went for a 2-3 mile walk from the apartment, to Dunkin Donuts and back to the apartment. Again, Austin slept for most of the walk, but we just like knowing that he is getting fresh air (by polluted Jersey standards, anyway).

Later that evening Mark came by to watch a movie (Apocalypto which was much better than reviews indicated)...we got a couple good pics in the 15-20 calm seconds before Austin sensed Mark's inexperience and unease and started crying. Mark also brought us his famous homemade brownies (sans nuts, due to Christine's allergy)...they were delicious!
