Saturday morning started pleasantly with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Peggy stopping by to visit (with bagels). Austin was pretty good for the most part (which, by default, involves a little bit of fussiness). Peggy got to feed him from a bottle, and Kevin is looking progressively more comfortable with the little guy (who you can tell he adores).
After our company left, Keith went to Joelle's house )to edit the video that was posted in the previous posting) for about an hour before returning home to pickup Christine and Austin to go for a walk. Austin napped throughout the duration of walks at 2 different/separate walks- with a brief visit to the grocery store in between walks (Keith and Austin stayed in the car while Christine went inside). While Austin was still sleeping, Christine and Keith stood alongside the dog park for a while and marveled at the size of an Alaskan Malamute and the drool from a Bloodhound. The remainder of the day involved everyone resting and Keith watching some football.
This morning, Christine and Austin were out the door by 8:45 am to make a trip to Scranton, PA for a baby shower. The story goes something like this: Austin slept for the entire drive there (about 1 hr, 45 mins), ate and pooped through his diaper and onto his clothes because he forgot to change his diaper after the ride), was very friendly and social at the shower, and slept all the way home.
In retrospect, it has been a pretty uneventful, really (aside from Kevin/Peggy's visit)...but we just wanted to check in and give everyone a little update!
