What would one expect from upstanding and respectable Tri-State natives when they move to Boston? Certainly NOT becoming loyal Red Sox fans. But, unfortunately, we lost Stacey and Elie to the dark side a few years ago, and they haven't looked back. Despite their sacrilege, we had them over on Thursday morning to meet Austin.
All kidding aside, it had been about 2 years since we had an opportunity to hang out with Stacey/Elie, and it was long overdue. Being as they were in the area to celebrate the holiday season with their families, they dropped us an email to see if we would be interested in having some company...we couldn't have been happier to have 'em come over. Beside the distance between us, circumstances (such as Keith and Stacey both pursuing their respective doctorate degrees) had just prevented us from seeing each other more frequently.
Austin was pretty good for them, unlike later in the week...so a good time was had by all. We are going to have to make sure that we don't wait another 2 years before seeing Stacey/Elie again!
