Austin kept us up a bit last night...ok, alot...but that is to be expected, right? Mom and Dad are still discovering what positions are most comfortable for the little guy and what things frustrate him. Surely, by the time we figure out how to keep him happy, he will change and begin to like other things instead. Austin seems to prefer to sleep on his side and stomach more than his back, so that is one little obstacle. We are planning on trying to prop him on his side tonight in his basinet, because last night he was most unhappy lying in it on his back.
Speaking of enjoying his stomach...we already have him doing his "tummy time". Poor kid...with PTs as parents, he is doomed to be placed on his stomach throughout all hours of the day, regardless of whether he likes it or not.
Lots of visitors today...Julie and Brenna B., Karen, and Lauren and the kids. Austin is lucky to be loved by so many people, so early in life. Funny how we thought Brenna and Peter were tiny until they came to visit and we took pics of the kids near Austin...he is so small in comparison!
Austin continues to eat frequently (between 2-3.5 hours between feedings) and is also taking to a pacifier as well.
Speaking of eating...a special thank you to some close friends who sent us some goodies for our own bellies. We have a fridge full of food that should last us for days (turkey/mashed potato meals, penne vodka, baked ziti, mozzarella sticks, chicken parm, chicken francais, coffee cake, salads, soups) and some really nice sweets too!
As planned, the web album (LINK) continues to be updated as well with pics of Austin on his belly and all the special people who came to visit.
