A posting for the Moxy lovers out there...

We understand that most of you check in on the blog to check in for updates on Austin, but sometimes things get slow around here (or at least uneventful), and we don't always have something to contribute that everyone may think has merit....this is one of those times.

That being said, something really cool happened the other day...here is a picture:



For those of you who are not totally familiar with Moxy. and her idiosyncrasies...since she was a kitten, she has had a "security blanket" (an isotoner sock) that she carries from room to room. It is rather endearing (despite the fact that she can be somewhat of a selfish bitch), because whenever we leave the house, she brings her sock either to the door or next to something that she associates with either Christine (the shoe rack) or Keith (the computer). At night, she usually waits for Keith and Christine to go to bed, then she will bring in her sock from the living area and bring it to the foot of the bed.

So...last night we heard Moxy moving her sock while we were in bed (yes, she makes a guttural bellow while she carries her sock) , but she never brought it into the room. When we woke up this morning we discovered that Moxy had taken her sock and moved it next to Austin's bouncy seat.

Granted, she isn't that bright, and she is only a cat....but she is our stupid cat and it makes us happy to know that she actually considers Austin to be a part of the family and she is becoming attached (in her own autistic way).
